With the acquisition of the IBM server business and Motorola phones, Lenovo needed meetings with enterprises to communicate their new end-to-end IT solutions. It's challenging getting meetings with time-poor executives, so the communication needed to be clever and the offer compelling.
We created a Direct Mail piece to replicate the server. When the DM was opened, an embedded video player shaped like a Motorola phone played automatically. The offer? 'Book a meeting online and receive a Motorola Moto X smartphone at the meeting'. Recipients who didn’t book received a follow-up phone call.
